Configure your store settings

Set your currency, time zone, tax, and shipping defaults.

Get these right on day one and you won't have to think about them again. Revisit only when something changes — new tax rate, new shipping zone, new currency.

1. Open Settings

   From the sidebar, click Settings.

2. Set your currency and time zone

   Pick the currency you sell in (it shows on every price) and your local time zone (it controls when reports roll over and when scheduled campaigns send).

3. Add your tax rate

   If you charge VAT or sales tax, enter the percentage. Boombiz will add it to every order — or you can include it in product prices instead.

4. Set shipping defaults

   Add your standard delivery fee and the zones you ship to. You can set free shipping above a certain order value (e.g. free over ₦20,000).

5. Choose order notifications

   Pick how you want to hear about new orders: email, WhatsApp, browser push, or all three. We recommend at least two so you never miss a sale.

6. Save

   Click Save. Changes apply to new orders immediately.
