Publish a blog post

Write a post and share it on your storefront blog.

Blog posts help your storefront rank in search engines and give customers a reason to come back. Aim to publish at least one post a month.

1. Open the Blog page

   From the sidebar, click Blog, then New post in the top right.

2. Write your title and content

   Give the post a clear, keyword-friendly title. Use the rich-text editor to write the body — you can add headings, lists, images, and links.

3. Add a cover image and category

   Upload a cover image (used as the post's thumbnail) and assign a category so readers can browse related posts.

4. Write an excerpt

   The excerpt is a 1–2 sentence summary shown on the blog index and in search results. Aim for under 160 characters.

5. Publish

   Toggle Published on, then click Save. The post appears on your storefront at /blog/<your-post-slug> immediately. Toggle Pinned to keep it at the top of the blog index.
